Subject: Community Soccer Club eLetter Spring 2007

The weather is finally starting to break so thoughts are turning to spring soccer.  
Here are a few reminders regarding Community Soccer Club's upcoming activities.

First, our final registration date for Spring is March 17, from 9 - noon at Diamond
Community Center.  If you can't make it in person please make sure you visit our website,
download the forms, and mail them in with your payment.  All mail-ins must be postmarked 
by Monday, March 19 to be guaranteed a spot on a team.  After that, no requests will be 
honored and we may not even have space for your child.

Second, we will be conducting our annual coaching clinic on Sunday, April 1, at the Canton 
McGregor Elementary School, 2339 17th St SW, from 2 - 4 pm.  This clinic is free and open 
to all current and prospective CSC coaches and assistant coaches.  Our instructor this 
year will be from the coaching staff of the University of Akron Men's Soccer Team.  
Please contact Bob Sanderson, our coaching coordinator, for more information.  Bob's

Third, our pre-season coaches meeting will be held at Diamond on Tuesday, April 3, starting 
at 7:00 pm.  PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN BOTH THE DATE AND STARTING TIME.  This is 
necessitated by availability of the facility.

Opening day this spring is April 21.  Your coaches will be in touch to let you know when 
and where practices will be held.

As a final note, Community Soccer is once again sponsoring a summer camp by British Soccer.  
This year's camp will be held the week of June 11, and pre-registration is required.  To 
encourage our players to participate, Community Soccer subsidizes the regular price of the 
camp for CSC members and their siblings, and, if you register by April 27 you receive a 
British Soccer replica shirt worth $30 just for the price of shipping.  Go to
