Subject: CSC eLetter No 3 - Spring 2007

As we near the end of our spring season, I wanted to thank all our players, parents, 
and coaches for helping to make this one of the most successful seasons ever for 
Community Soccer.  We have over 900 players on 80 teams, and by season's end will 
have played 320 games.  I trust that your children have enjoyed their soccer experience 
and have improved their skills while having fun at the same time.

Registration for fall soccer will be held on the final two Saturdays of the season, 
June 2 and 9.  We will also have one more in-person registration date, July 21.  Of 
course you can send in your registration by mail any time by downloading the forms 
off our website.  Registration deadline is July 23, after which point no requests 
can be honored and you will be placed on a waiting list for team assignment.  
Register early so you won't be disappointed!

For those of you wondering about team pictures, the photographer had notified us that 
they will be delivered during your games on June 2.  Coaches, please come up to the 
building to pick up your team's pictures or send a parent representative.

One of the objectives of Community Soccer is to help kids develop their soccer skills.  
If your child has developed to the point where a more competitive, challenging level 
of soccer is desired, check out the Strikers Soccer Club.  Strikers offer travel soccer 
to players in the U-9 through U-14 age groups.  Try outs are required and will be held 
at 5:30 pm on June 4 and 5 at Diamond Park.  Check their website, www.ncantonstrikers.com, 
for information.

One final note, it's not too late to sign up for the British Soccer Camp, being offered 
to kids age 4-14 the week of June 11.  But don't wait much longer to decide as there is 
a late fee after June 1.  Forms are available upstairs at Diamond or follow the link on 
our website.
